Puppies, renovations and open floor plans don't mix. The Loft Paddock builds a safe zone anywhere, and unlike the wire crates it replaces, it looks deliberate: black-finished metal panels with decorative scrollwork and ball finials, closer to garden ironwork than to kennel hardware.

The mesh is the working part: a fine, dense weave the supplier designed so puppy teeth and paws cannot get caught and small escape artists cannot squeeze through. A walk-through door panel carries a safety latch, and a velcro-attached waterproof wrap with matching floor pad converts the pen for whelping litters. Panels reconfigure as a square pen, a run, a room divider, a corner blocker or an octagon, indoors or out.
